BBBS has won three iDEX challenges floated by the Ministry of Defense of India, aimed to foster innovation and indigenous technology development in Defense and Aerospace areas. BBBS is the only start-up that has won three challenges; receiving a grant of INR 1.5 Crore per challenge, summing to a total of INR 4.5 Crore, to develop the prototype within 12 months. BBBS is also receiving a Multi-Crore Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and an international export license as part of the iDEX wins.
The company has been founded by second time and second generation technology entrepreneurs with successful exits in the past. Our technical co-founder is the youngest PhD in Nanotechnology in India and our business and operations co-founders come from prestigious schools such as IIM and Purdue University, USA.
The core team has significant experience in intellectual property development in Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Printable Electronics, Nanotechnology and Management. The inter-disciplinary nature of the core team enables BBBS to deliver world-class product and service.
The three founders of the company have the following qualifications:

Dr. R. Shivaraman and Praveen Dwarakanath, classmates from Undergrad and have experience in successful working together. They started their entrepreneurial journey with Accendere, a edtech startup. Accendere successfully established itself as the world’s first research capability augmentation company and counts amongst its client’s prestigious names such as the IITs and IIMs in addition to several other marquee private institutions across the world. Accendere went on the pioneer the WAIN platform to connect the academic research with its users / adapters from the industry creating a platform for funding, co-development and primary research acquisition. The WAIN platform has over 72k researchers and the students from RI’s around the country have managed to publish over 5000 high impact Research Papers and file several patents for indigenous developed technology.
The “edtech” startup was incorporated with a capital of $2,000 (broke even in 2 months and 3 days -63 days from date of incorporation) and the founders successful exited at a valuation of $4million (https://www.indiainfoline.com/article/news-top-story/cl-educate-acquisition-cl-educate-completes-100-acquisition-of-accendere-117041300483_1.html) after taking the merged conglomerate CL Educate Limited through a successful IPO (BSE & NSE) in March 2017. Having built Accendere, the founders have excellent contacts in the educational industry. This allows BBB to leverage thousands of research scholars, and hundreds of research labs at a very nominal cost. This is a source of competitive advantage for us when conducting fundamental research.
Krishna Milan Rao built the first AR gaming startup in the India, in the pre-Pokemon GO Era. Their flagship game, Delta T spread to 190+ countries covering almost all the countries, with huge community acceptance. Because of this they won the exclusive worldwide rights for James Cameron’s Terminator movie’s AR game where they were selected by Skydance amongst 6 global competitors. Raised a multi-million round from Marquee investors from the US and India and is now merging with a much bigger gaming company from the US.
Mr. Praveen Dwarakanath is the Director of Business Development at Big Bang Boom Solutions Pvt. Ltd. He has keen interests in the fields of management and technology. Mr. Dwarakanath completed Engineering and Computer Science from SRM University, Chennai and went on to finish his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He derives his expertise from the rich experience of having worked at Reckitt Benckiser and Hindustan Unilever Limited.
Mr. Dwarakanath also serves as an investor and strategic advisor in a number of startups such as NanoHealth (one of India’s first Blockchain integrated Healthcare service provider), Empower Labs and the Hyderabad Cricket Club.
Dr. R. Shivaraman, PhD (Nanotechnology – Magnetic Data Storage Devices) is the youngest PhD in Nanotech in India. Having completed his Masters in Nanotechnology following his Bachelors (Computer Science), Shiva derives his expertise in a broad range of topics from the time spent in top research facilities such as University of Western Australia, Carnegie Mellon University, SRM University and Bhabha Atomic Research Center.
After his academic career in which he published over 50 research papers and 2 patents, Shiva started his entrepreneurial journey with Accendere and now serves as a Director at Big Bang Boom Solutions Pvt Ltd. Shiva also serves as an investor and advisor for several startups such as Empower Labs, Flique Sports and Portmanteau Food Solutions.
Krishna Milan Rao
Mr. Krishna Milan Rao, an Industrial Engineer from Purdue University, USA, is a second generation entrepreneur. His family made a multi-million exit from their first business, in which he played an integral part, and has now set up a 388 MW Gas based power project. He founded one of the first AR gaming startups in the world, at the age of 22. He is known to be a thought leader in the Augmented Reality space and has been invited to be the keynote speaker and panelist at prestigious forums including NASSCOM GDC, GE Engineering Forum, Tomorrow’s India, Singapore 2016, IIIT Hyderabad among others. He has also presented Research Papers at ICVAR 2016: 18th International Conference on Virtual & Augmented Reality, Singapore.
